The locals call this place, Shangani. The area is stunning! Gazi is more than what we hear or think. The beach is so white and attractive with a variety of birds. Long stretch of bare sands during low tide leaves you in awe. Walking farther down the beach brings you to the most beautiful scenery, where the river meets the ocean!
Mkurumudzi river enters into Indian ocean and forms the Estuary. What a sight! And from the mangrove trees within, a pied kingfisher dives into the river only to fly out with a fish in its beak. This is really a paradise away from the crowds. So calm and quiet. Nobody comes here for pass-time or playing on the beach.
