You can hire me on daily basis or I can plan and calculate you a design tour with a fixed price according to your wishes. To have an idea of the local price level and a rough estimate of your travel costs, please contact me for help for the planning and price quotation.In both cases my charges are:
- 40 €/day (US 46$) for planning, consultation and travel in the vicinity of my home in Mombasa
- 50 €/day (US 59$) for travels outside Mombasa area everywhere in Kenya
On top of that you will pay my accommodation, travel and meal costs during your tour.
With the price I am at your disposal 24/7 taking full responsibility of your well-being, negotiating you the best prices and drive the vehicle. Your safety is my utmost priority.
Some examples to give you an understanding of the local price levels:
- Accommodation 5-50 € / person / night
- Car rental 30-60 € / day
- Meals 1-10 € / person / meal
- Entrance fees to parks 50-100 € / person (for locals the prices are significantly lower)
- Short distance public transportation (Matatu) under 1 € / seat / trip
- Translator 10 € / day / group
To facilitate communications I can hire a translator for other languages than English and Swahili.
If your travel plan will require any payable advance bookings and you want me to take care of them, I shall have to charge you the direct costs for making the pre-payments here on your behalf. Prices do not include alcohol, cigarettes, or any other non-essential costs other than those explicitly agreed beforehand. Quoted prices include taxes and other official charges.
It is your responsibility to obtain a suitable travel insurance covering the planned activities in Kenya.
