Nick Muri - Your Man In Kenya. Travel Adventure Tours Safari Culture Wildlife

My Services

Nick Muri. Your Man In Kenya.
Since 2008 I have organized tours in Kenya ranging from short village visits to longer country-wide safaris and wildlife tours. I have worked with travelers and tourists from Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Norway, Poland, Reunion, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, UK and US.

I participate typically by helping to plan the tour, watching over your security, driving the vehicle, negotiating prices, solving problems before they become problems, taking photos of you and your friends for you and in general addressing all your needs on the road.

Villages And Cultural Sites

A visit to an African villages offers you a peek to the daily life of local people and their culture. It's the most ecological way to get to know Kenya. You will get a taste of local cuisine, agriculture, religion, crafts and antiques, economic resources, sports and education.

I am also happy to arrange for you trips and excursions to special places of interest including Sacred forests, Historic sites, City tours, local community schools, Bird watching, dhow trips and swimming with dolphins.

In Mwamanga village you can meet the Giriama community in their typical kijiji dressed in traditional attires, kanikis and bear chests. Sound of the drums, kayambas and ankle bells send men and women into dancing. Have a tour of their shanties and see the architecture. You could enjoy the coconut wine as you sit on the logs and learn to climb up a coconut tree to harvest coconuts for the wine. Or join the women in making floor mats from coconut leaves.

The village can be reached easily and inexpensively from Mombasa for example by matatu (the local public transportation), bicycle and car.

I Will Be There For You

Tours can be tailor made giving you full freedom of choice. I am happy to assist you in planning and organizing your trip. To guarantee success and keep you away from harms way, I will always participate personally and be there for you. I have lived all my life, over 40 years, in different parts of Kenya, speak the local languages and know the customs.

Traveling in Kenya can be challenging or even dangerous in some part of the country especially if you are not aware of the dangers. White people and foreigners can be ripped-off if they go to buy products and services alone. To prevent any inconveniences and make sure your trip will be success I will be there for you. I will never be sending you out alone just with a driver or a guide or any other hired hand.

My experience and presence are at your disposal and will guarantee you a memorable and successful vacation in Kenya. Welcome to Kenya! Karibu Kenya!
